NYSIM would like to Introduce Dinora Oliva—Simulation Operations Specialist

Dinora has been an EMT and Medical Assistant since 2011, and worked in several positions as such. She spent several years with Kingsborough Community College, CUNY and the Research Foundation as a Continuing Education Teacher and Program Assistant. She engaged with numerous programs to assist underprivileged youth to obtain essential job skills training through medical and other vocational programs. She recently worked as a Simulation Specialist at Long Island University’s, Interprofessional Simulation Center, where she assisted to imple- ment numerous new initiatives to improve simulation/student outcomes. When Dinora is not working she is an avid hiker and reader and enjoys many of the trails in the surrounding area.
