New Equipment at NYSIM—Alaris IV Pumps
The BD AlarisTM Pump Module is a large volume infusion pump that helps con- tinuously or intermittently deliver fluids, medications, blood and blood prod- ucts to adult, pediatric or neonatal patients. Clinicians can attach up to four IV infusion modules, allowing four independent infusions on a single PC unit. The pumps are also complete with the NYU Langone Health drug library.
The mission of NYSIM is to provide simulation education and research that fosters quality care, patient safety, and effective communication with patients and among health care professionals.
