NYSIM Team Spotlight: Employee Recognition Awards

This month NYSIM congratulates our two Senior Simulation Operations Associates (SOA), Cynthia Reyes and Sean Overstreet, on their recent Employee Recognition awards! The goal of this program is to recognize outstanding staff who have gone above and beyond their day-to-day job, and serve as role models in one of two categories: Innovation and Initiative or Collaboration. Cynthia was recognized with the award for Innovation and Initiative. When faculty have new simulation education goals at NYSIM, Cynthia consistently uses her creativity to quickly develop solutions that enhance the impact or realism of our in-situ and on-site programs. Faculty describe her as being indispensable during simulation. Sean was recognized with the award for Collaboration. Sean successfully builds and maintains key relationships with our partners across departments and campuses; his expertise and hospitality undoubtedly enhance the quality of our OSCEs. Faculty describe Sean as diligent, professional, and unflappable when tech issues arise. The examples of their innovation and collaboration are too numerous to list, nevertheless we recognize and are grateful for our team’s exceptionalism. Congratulations, Sean and Cynthia!
